Served as Vice President for 2 years supporting Scott Dorsey, the first African American Board President.

Exercised fiscal oversight of $165 million district budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of public resources.
Pioneered initiatives to remove barriers and increase access to services for constituents including: Implemented live streaming of school board meetings, established recording and archiving of committee meetings and led implementation of all-abilities playgrounds at all T/E elementary schools.
